Blanket Construction

The blanket is made in:

1. Foundation border
2. Repeating lace panel rows
3. Decorative scalloped edging

Foundation Chain

Chain multiples of 18 + 6

Example:

198 + 6 = 204 chains

Row Pattern Repeat

Row 1

Dc in 4th ch from hook and across.

Turn.

Row 2 — Mesh Lace

rep across.

Turn.

Row 3 — Floral Eyelets

Row 4 — Oval Motif Band

Work:

• 7 dc into each ch-5 loop
• sc between loops

This creates the raised oval lace effect.

Repeat Section

Repeat Rows 2–5 until desired length.

Round 1

Sc evenly around entire blanket.
